It&#8217;s inspired by Caterina Cornaro, Queen Consort of Cyprus, born into the illustrious Venetian Corner Family and named Lady of Asolo after her return to Venice.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Grape variety<\/strong><br \/>\nMerlot and Raboso<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grape production area<\/strong><br \/>\nMunicipalities of the province of Treviso.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Soil composition<\/strong><br \/>\nMedium loam soil with a clay component.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong><br \/>\nTraditional red vinification with destemming and pressing of the grapes and 20 days maceration with daily pumping over.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wine aging<\/strong><br \/>\nAging in French durmast barriques for 10 months, then further 8 months in concrete tanks. Subsequent bottling with following aging in the bottle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Organoleptic characteristics<\/strong><br \/>\nIntense and brilliant ruby \u200b\u200bred colour. It appears with concentrated and well-defined nuances of soft fruit, blackberry and morello cherry jam that intertwine with scents of cocoa and delicate notes of roasting. The taste is very full-bodied and soft.
